Erik has been dedicated to fly fishing for the past 20 years. After digging through his dad’s fishing gear and finding an old automatic martin reel and a fly rod, he taught himself to fly fish and has been dedicated ever since. He began guiding on the Owyhee River, sharing his passion with people from all parts of the country and becoming somewhat of a Brown Trout specialist. He has spent the last summer exploring the incredible collection of Feathered Hook water, guiding clients, riding horses, and working towards improving stream habitat on the spring creeks.
This winter will be spent building cabins and compiling film footage from the summers fishing expeditions. He is looking forward to next year’s season with the annual trip into the wilderness for big Cutthroat Trout. Come and join us, it should be an exceptional season.
Jason has been working with FishingProperties.com for the past 13 years as a consultant in fish habitat restoration. He has been involved in every aspect from development to the dirty work. Chasing trout has always been a passion especially in the more remote locations where fish rarely see a hook.
When he is not working on fish habitat restoration he spends his time on horseback exploring the mountains of Wyoming. For the past 9 years he has worked as a hunting guide in the Snake River and Wyoming Mountain Ranges. He played college football in West Virginia at Concord College where he earned honors as a division 2 all American. He loves spending time in the outdoors with his family.
Mitch has been fly fishing as long as he can remember. Being raised in a family of fishermen and a native to Star Valley, Wyoming, Mitch knows the area by heart. He spends his summers with Feathered Hook and for every ounce of down-time he can find, he’s fly fishing and exploring the Feathered Hook locations. During the Fall and Winter, he spends his time in Laramie, WY as a law student at the University of Wyoming.
He could be on a computer compiling photographs and film footage, out on the river with clientele, or out meeting new faces to Feathered Hook. With such a love for the outdoors, he’s always looking forward to our next big adventure.
