Salt River Float Trips

The Salt River Originates from the Western slopes of the Salt River Mountain Range just south of Afton, Wyoming.  The Salt flows North between the Star Valley Wyoming range and the Caribou Range of Idaho and empties into Palisades Reservoir and its confluence with the Snake River.  It meanders through Star Valleys where you have the opportunity to land a Brown, Brook, and Snake River Fine Spotted Cutthroat Trout.   The average fish range from 12 to 14 inches, Yet Browns up to six pounds is always a pleasant possibility.

The Salt is 84 miles long Starting in the Wyoming Range
