Dry Flies Fill the Air on Spring Creek Meadows

Tonight started off slowly as the fish were feeding subsurface only. By 6 o’clock the sky became filled with caddis, drakes, and PMD’s. The Cutthroat and Brookies were the most active feeders on the surface while the Brown Trout remained in the deeper holes. It was an interesting evening to say the least, especially when every fish caught was over 15 inches in length. It also helps, that we couldn’t keep track of the amount we caught! Here is a few trophy fish from this evening.
